We are ChoCoLA, a community of choreographers who uplift and encourage dancers and fellow choreographers to share their work with the world. We believe that choreography is an essential form of artistic expression, and requires a supportive and encouraging space to flourish. Whether you are an experienced choreographer or just starting on your creative journey, we invite you to join us at ChoCoLA and celebrate the powerful, visionary and creative artist in all of us!
What We Are
ChoCoLA is a collective of artists providing a platform for choreographers to showcase their work. Choreographers will gain exposure, workshop material in front of a live audience, network with other professionals and experiment with new ideas. ChoCoLA, builds community around the dance art form, and encourages choreographers to leap into the creative process.
Why We Are
As a community of choreographers we recognize that there is a need for more supportive and creative choreographic outlets in the Los Angeles dance community. Sharing choreography with the world can be a thrilling and sometimes nerve wracking experience. We are here to support choreographers with this venture and help them take a leap towards being the inspiring artists they want to be!
